In recent years the capital of Cyprus has become more and more crowded with development and so developers have been looking to Larnaca to further their investment opportunities. Commandaria is the oldest wine in Cyprus and the oldest wine brand name in the World; it was first drunk by the ancients at festivals celebrating the life of Aphrodite and has been drunk throughout the ages by Kings and peasants alike. • Self-catering holidays - beat the credit crunch!
If we are all honest I bet the majority of us love the idea of a Mediterranean Island holiday – relaxing in the sun, on a beach or by a pool, sipping a drink, reading, sun bathing – doing whatever you feel like. Sounds good doesn’t it?! For many people the purse strings are [...]

Cyprus house prices up 19.2% in 2007

Cyprus property prices rose nearly 20 percent last year despite central banks efforts to curb the rate of increase.

The BuySell price tracker said on Tuesday that the year on year rate of house price increases eased to 19.2% in December 2007 from the 21% in November 2007. However, the year on year rate was nearly three times higher that the 6.6% increase during 2006.

The average price of a property was 108,344 Cyprus Pounds which has raced ahead of predictions due the the prospects of lower interest rates when Cyprus joined the Euro zone in January 2008 and specualtion about the imposition of VAT on sales of land plots, which is now in force.

Buying abroad is easy, just get the right advice

When Andy Foote set up BMS Homes 10 years ago he wanted to revolutionise the process of overseas property investment. He says, “When people buy abroad people always focus on the entry and not the exit. BMS Homes has always ensured its overseas property is a viable investment proposition for the buyer.”

Unfortunately for many, a dream home can turn into a real living nightmare and not the investment that they hoped for. Too many people experience a whole multitude of problems that can have serious financial implications. BMS Homes has unique philosophy to overseas property investment. it must be safe, secure and structured. We’re not interested in emerging market places or the next boom destination. It really is about the exit, if I want to sell my property in five years time, will it sell? If I want to rent it in 10 years, can I?

We have focused on cyprus for 10 years because it uphold our safe, secure and structured philosophy. It is an excellent holiday destination which continually produces healthy annual property price growth, great news for our owners.

Our concept is building wealth, turning £25k into £250k over a ten year period and enhancing your lifestyle at the same time. We have never had to advertise as we always work on referral and reputation.
